What is Marijuana?

What is THC?

THC- Tetrahydrocannabinol

THC is a chemical compound in marijuana, this is the chemical compound that gets you high due to it psycho-active properities. This is also the part of the drug that is still illegal but this compound also help to stimulate of brain cells as well as protecting them.

Background resreach into THC

THC first became illegal in the UK can and most of the world on the 28th Spetemeber 1928 along with the Dangerous Drug Act a few years eairler in 1925. All of this happened after a history with cannabis use going back 12,000 years. Springer in 1980 did realise a book on the 12,000 year history. In 1928 they had made it illegal with no british domestic reasioning, no lobbying or against probition and no parliamentary debates.

Our body does produce THC naturally in every small dosages but you can find this is mant forms some of them being: oils, capsules, pastes, waxes, crumble, crystal, flower, balm, vape and suppositories. All of these (if you are in a country where its legal) you will be able to find a strength and flavour talioured to you and what you like/need. You will be able to taylor this to you depending on what you are taking it for.

In clincal trails in countries that are get to legalise it aren’t showing much progress and it’ll never became and pharmaceuitcal fully until it has had the scheduel 1 status. What this basically mean is the fact that bevause it has a hallucinogenic porperities. Generally a home office licence is required for producton, possession or supply of the drug. There are some circumstances where thinking about using cannasbis to help with an illness isn’t on the unreasonable side of things. If we take the 30% of people with epilipsy that traditional medications don’t work for, there has been a proven alterantive that does work for some but again it wont work for all.

Endocannabiniod system (ECS) is a system found in everything living expect from insect. Rapheal Mechoulan found this back in 1964. This acts like out bodys own cannabinoid system. Cannabinold receptors will pass information along that is involved with a phsiological processes that include helping with appettite, pain sensation, mood and memory. This is loacted in the brain and throughout the peripheral nervous system. This whole processes is why THC can help with so many different illness.

Touching on how I find a benefit from cannabis!

I find benefits from smoking cannabis as I have said before I suffer with bad depression and high anxeity. The benefits of smoking cannabis for me personaly again they are different for every single person but for me personaly, I enjoy the high it keeps me chilled out and I don’t suffer with axniety when I smoke it. It completely emliamates any sign of anxiety which for me is a pretty big thing. However, I have had bad experences with unregulated marijuana. This is down to the fact that we don’t know what or how it is grown.
